Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is a well-known Indian actress who is best recognized for her roles in the films Beta Saajan, Hum Aapke Hain Koun. She started her career in her twenties. Her role as Anil Kapoor in the film Tezaab made her hugely famous. Her next film was the movie Dil in which she was on screen alongside Aamir Khan. She was born into a Mumbai middle-class family and began to dance in her early years. While still a teenager she tried her hand at acting, however most films she attempted to make did not succeed. However, she eventually achieved success and became one of the most prominent actors within the Indian film industry. After her wedding ceremony, she took a time off from her acting career prior to returning. In recent times, she was one of the main characters in Gulaab Gang about Indian women. Dixit has been nominated for 15 Filmfare Awards. Of these, she has won 8. Padma Shri was awarded to her, which is the fourth most prestigious civil award in India. In addition, she is recognized for her charity work.
