Rosalia

Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is an Spanish pop and flamenco singer. Involved in the margins of both traditional and popular music since she was a teenager, she has also delved into different genres such as hip-hop soul and trap. Pepe Habichuela has said that her voice as crisp and sweet but with a little bite. El Mal Querer is her 2nd album, which was made available in 2018, which was critically and commercially successful. Following Los Angeles, her debut album from 2017, she received a Latin Grammy for Best New Artist as well as an Latin Grammy nod. La Fama, featuring The Weeknd came out in 2021. Motomami included songwriting collaborations with many artists including Cory Henry, James Blake and others. It was released on March 20th, 2022 following the performance by Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia was the first Spanish solo performer to be a part of the show on Saturday Night Live. Motomami was her album which has won three Latin Grammy Awards also made Rosalia the first female artist to have won the Latin Album of the Year win twice.
