Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is Mexican-born musician born into a musical family. She spent the majority of her childhood listening to music from the past Boleros from the past, classic ranchero or romantic music and older classical songs. Ana is a fan of Tangos. She also loves operas and any form theatrical performance. After singing with her mom and sister, she began more intense training in singing at 16, under the direction of renown Mexican tenor FlavioBecerra. In Guadalajara, she attended the School of Music of University of Guadalajara as well as in Toluca in Toluca at the School of Sacred Music. In Guadalajara and Mexico City, she was a member of many opera choruses and chamber ensembles. In 2000 she moved to the United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. In 2007, she returned to her current home in Southern California. She is currently a member of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and is a frequent solo performer with traditional Latin American music at private performances. As a teacher and musician she has volunteered for various community-based projects because of her passion and passion for music. Ana was also a member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana hopes that with her performance her love of Latin American traditional songs, that she will bring about a desire, specifically among the younger generation, for keeping this music in the present.
